The Opportunity: 

Paperless Parts is looking for passionate, results-oriented Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) who are passionate about quality and writing automated tests within application development teams.

Opportunities are available to work with a wide variety of technologies from front-end UI to back-end services and integrations. You will own the design and implementation of automated tests that will help ensure the quality of code supporting major deliverables working closely with Developers, Product Management, Design and Architecture. Scaling, reusability, and customer experience are top priorities as the business grows.

As your contribution to test coverage grows there will be opportunities to work on developing both application code and the test code that accompanies it.

This position requires activities that are subject to US Export Control Laws and require US Citizenship or Green Card Holder.

The SDET’s responsibilities will include: 

  • Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review and diagnose reported bugs, and ensure overall system quality prior to a customer release.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration for value added feedback.
  • Work with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
  • Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • 1-3 years as an SDET, developer, or QA Engineer
  • Demonstrated proficiency writing code and automated tests
  • Able to work on EST and live within three hours of it
